CHEAP long seat bolts

A pair of 6mm x 80 mm hex head cap screws with partial thread make cheap and excellent long seat screws. Just screw a nut up hard at the end of the threads and use a washer. They are easy to take on and off and cost little. Even better in stainless steel.

Thanks geolpilot. I will have to give it a try since I've been taking my seat off and on several times lately.

Here are a few homemade seat bolt ideas. Definitely easier if you use several seats.
