This just came up incidentally in another thread, and I thought it might deserve its own.

Has anyone installed Nology Hot Wires and noticed that they required, or permitted, a richer mixture than the stock wires? E.g.g, in another thread, one of our number observed that on his bike, 125 mains were too rich, and 120s just right, before the switch, but afterwards, the 125s burned cleanly.

Interesting, if true; and would tend to support Nology's claim of a "hotter" spark, which I know is somewhat controversial.

a rich mixture and weak spark can seam the same a weak coil will make plugs look like there burning rich. think of it this way to rich to cold to lean to hot.
