Winter-time is the Mod-ing Time
Just wanted to share a couple of photos of some new changes to the beloved Bonnie Black. I hacked some off of that newbonneville.com aluminum fender (to shave weight) and added a Corbin Gunslinger (to add back that weight) and added a sparto taillight and frame-mounted blinkers.
Next week its time to finally install D9's layflat bracket and start cleaning up that mess that lives under the sidecovers. I love what member Vertwrks did with cleaning up that area, but this kind of electrical stuff scares the bejeebers out of me.
Has anyone had any success in adding an extension of any sort to the BellaCorse oval mirrors so they are not just beautifully useless eye-candy?

First of all beautiful bike! I had those mirrors for about one ride and got rid of them. I did like the way they look but just didn't like not seeing behind me. I attempted to modify the stock stems to attach the oval heads, but gave up and went with VStar mirrors and bent the stock stems down. One other thing that I almost went with on mine was those shrouded shocks, something about them just hits me right. Good job dog.

Very Nice
Hey Raindogs,
props to ya, nice looking ride. Among many things on your bike that I like, the rear indicators really do it for me. I have yet to find any black bullets with amber lenses. Where did you get those? Or did you paint them yourself?
Cheers!

Thanks for the compliments!
Sweat, that taillight was a result of your linking to Brat Style a while back. It took me almost an entire day of netsurfing while at work to find it but I found the exact one they use on many of their bikes. The quality is awesome, all metal, great finish, thick glass lens...

Mac, that's just the all black Gunslinger without the piping option. Ask them to use black thread on the Corbin logo if you don't want that sticking out in white (I was surprised they let me do that, thought I'd just have to Sharpie it.
Bonn007, those are Arlen Ness bullets that I rattle canned flat black.
Loxpump, thanks for the advice on the VStar mirrors, I'm checking those out.
