Norman Hyde Togas

Hello everybody,
I'm a new Itlian user, my name is Derek and I own a wonderful Bonnie.
I don't know if this could be the correct section to post this kind of topic, but I'm looking for a pair of Norman Hyde Toga mufflers.
Buying them new is too expensive for me, so if someone of you wants to sell them (or suggest where to buy cheaper..) I'll be very happy and grateful.
Thank you.

Congradulations on your Bonnie and welcome.

I, too, was really interested in finding a set of Togas. They have been backordered for quite a while at New Bonneville, so there is likely to be a waiting line by the time they arrive.

The last time I saw a pair on Ebay they ended up selling for over $400, a little discount, but not much.

I do see used TORS every so often. I picked mine up on Ebay for $177. They are a significant improvement over the stock pipes.

It is very cheap to just drill out the rear baffles of the stock pipes and there is a noticeable improvement in sound with this simple modification.

Good luck.

Togas

Let me know when ya all find them! The gutted stockers are doin fine but @ going 4 yrs- but starting to show their age. They will be replaced w/ Togas some day. I think the sound will be close. The GUTTED stockers have done their job well !! Looks as if the Togas will lighten her a few lbs as well.

Check out the BellaCorse teardrop mufflers. They are very similar and under $400.

Welcome, Derek. Post a Wanted to Buy ad in the Classifieds here on the site. Chances are you won't find any because people snap them up when they are available. BTW: Read the AUP and, FYI, posting any ads in the forums is not allowed. I'll leave this one up because you didn't know that.

Glad to have you with us. Post a pic of your bike when you get a chance.

Thanks for your advice. It's really interesting..maybe I'll by a couple of these.
But I'm actually looking for Norman Hyde Togas precisely because they are a little bit less noisy and also have removable baffle inside..

On the classified link at the left, when you click on the link the page displayed has a box just right of center that gives you a two item pull down with two option: 'For Sale' and 'Buy". select "Buy' and your on your way.
