I bought an '06 Scramber but don't have it stored at home. I have been asked for the engine serial number, but all I have is the VIN number. Where is the engine number located - and will it be the same or different from the VIN number?
the engine serial # is stamped into the top of the crankcase on the right hand side of the engine just above the sprocket cover.
the VIN is on the left side of the steering head
the frame# is on the right side of the steering head.
