Tall riders: Where are your knees at the tank?
As much as I like my Bonne, I have never really been comfortable on it due to my legs getting cramped. I'm curious, for other tall riders, where are your knees at the tank when you sit in a normal seating position. Mine go about 1-2" past the knee pads.
Thanks,
Dave-

6'6" with 34.5" inseam. Knees are on the pads - perfect. This T100 fits me nice. Haven't gone distance yet due to Winter, but I don't see myself changing the ergonomics much. Mirrors maybe. But the seat/pegs/handlebar relationships seem to be good.

Short guy butting in.
Probably all depends on how far back on the seat you sit. I'm 5'6" and my knees usually hit the pads fine. Sorry for butting into your tall guys thread, but it gave me my 1000th post.

Good point! I don't crowd the tank. I've got fairly long arms. So I guess that point where my arms & legs are most comfortable just happens to put my knees on the pads.

I am 6'1" but all legs. I was uncomfortable, then I bought modre's peg lowering kit. It lowers the pegs 2 inches. It is great now!

6'3"
I'm 6'3" and my knees are almost to the end of the knee pads. Maybe an inch or so. Not that I'm uncomfortable or anything, but I would love to try Madre's kit. How do I get them?

Get Modre's kit!!!! It makes your ride so much more comfortable. Unless you are a major league carver, you are not going to rub the pegs.
