I fitted Avon Azaro ST tyres to my Thruxton: 110x80x18 front, 140x80x17 rear. These are one size up from stock as Avon do not manufacture these tyres at stock sizes. I have found them to be excellent in the wet and dry, any way better than the Metzlers. The larger size has made no diffeence to the handling/steering.

I agree avon all the way! Made in england FOR england! Avon tyres transformed my bike's handling after those dire bridgestones that I used to have.

I have ran the Sport Demons and loved them. I used the stock sizes. They handle great , very neutral, let you know what they are doing and don't do anything bad.
