Is anybody running the kit with the open dual K&N air filters in Arizona? I was wondering if it works out good here in the dusty desert area or is it a headace as far as having to clean it all the time? I have the K&N stock replacement filter right now and I am tempted to get rid of the stock airbox and go with the kit.I am concerned about them getting dirty very quickly because I do ride it to work everyday and yes we get dust storms. I do want the power so it is tempting to go for it.
the same dust is in the air, no matter what filter.
If you have a stock one, you may have to replace it more often.
If you have K&N, you may have to clean them more often.
Still, probably not more than say once a year.
too much maintenance for ya?
