He probably needs to rejet the carbs as well. That takes a bit of time.

200 bucks

sounds a little steep to me,considering that the pipes are,what 450.00 ?
changing the pipes are stone simple.the jets ,can seem a little scary to the in-experienced,how ever ,i think it took me about an hour ,to do both and change out all the little , top and bottom carb screws while i was at it.its not as hard as it seems and there are excellent directions somewhere on this forum, just do a tech search. youll find the folks on this forum ,,very helpful
good luck and good riding

Do it yourself!

It's dead easy. The TORs come with detailed instructions, you don't even need to take the carbs off.

Just make sure you have a good quality 'stubby' screwdriver to take off the float bowls. I think its a No.2 Phillips, but others will confirm. It need to be well fitting as these screws can be tight and are a bit soft.

Take your time and you'll be fine. Just think what you can do with the money you save!

I HOPE what your dealer is meaning is he'll install the TORs for an additional $200 over the price of the bike, and that includes the TORs, not $200 PLUS price of TORs. Heck, my dealer was gonna though in the TORs for free (Total price $8500 OTD, 07 T100)
