Has anyone removed the paint from the Thruxton headlight brackets? I have them on my Bonnie and think they'd look cooler if they were polished aluminum. Did you use paint remover or sandpaper, and how well did they polish up? Thanks.
I've polished em on the thrux and T100 - paint stripper takes it right off, then polish the aluminum to the desired level of bling, work at it long enough and its almost chrome like. I polished em when I did the fork lowers 3 years ago.
