MAS racing seat from new bonneville

Does anyone have this seat? I am undecided between this and the thrux gel seat. I like the MAS seat but want to know if it is more comfortable than the stock seat.

Quite honestly it doesn't look that comfy. If it isn't, I will get the thrux gel seat, assuming that fits on a bonneville?

That's my bike - of course, it aint silver now-a-days. I like the seat - it's comfy on my bum. But, I have LONG legs and starting to get BAD knees from all the years I spent jumping out of airplanes. My right knee starts hurting if I spend more than an hour on the bike - with the NH rearsets. The seat and peg set up folds you up pretty tight in a jocky-like position. If I was 5'6"-5'8" then it would be a PERFECT seat. To me, the seat foam is cushier than the Thrux gel seat and my bum never gets a sore spot while riding it (unlike the Thrux seat) - just my knee crampin up.

I even tried it out on my Thrux for awhile ... still got a cramp in my knee. It's on the GF's Bonnie Black now. At 5'08" - it's perfect for her and she loves it.

I had it. Liked it for the couple days it was on. I sat a little lower than the stock seat and it didn't seem to have as much cushioning, but was more comfortable. Only problem was the leather was coming off of the adhesive. I'm fairly sure it was a localized problem on one piece, and not indicative of the whole lot. I'm looking forward to ordering another one later this spring and will probably add the leather tank cover as well.

Thank you gents.
Bonafide, I definately fall within the 5'6"-5'8" range so that shouldn't be a problem for me. Does the seat fit without mods? same bolt holes even?

Cynr1023 I hope that was an isolated thing. Thanks for replying!

It comes with all necessary hardware to mount. ie: the mounting plate and attachment bolt. Mounting the seat requires relocating the ignition box. no worries - it's a simple bolt on.

I want to add that Brent over at New Bonneville was helpful and understanding and ultimately refunded my money when I decided that's what I wanted to do. I WILL be ordering another seat from him in the future. Although he didn't mention the candy when I shipped it back !
