Tank Cover Install on 2007 America

Hi All

I got a Triumph tank cover for Christmas and I'm wondering if there are any surprises in installing it. (I have a knack for undoing screws and bolts and having something like a spring, fly out, never to be found again)

Any tips or input would be wonderful.
Thanks Loads

Are you sure your tank cover is for an America? Any tank covers I have seen advertised are specifically made for Bonnevilles, not America/Speedmasters. Is the fuel spout inlet in the center of the cover, or off-center to the right? If it is off-center, then it is specific to a
Bonneville tank.

OK....disregard my previous post....I see you are refering to one of those leather tank covers. Sorry.

If you mean one of those tanks bibs it's a snap. Three 5 mm Allen bolts to lift the tank dash and you're there, no hidden springs, no need to remove the fuel cap.
