Tail Lamps - Easy Right?

My dealer has that sweet Lucas Tail Lamp kit - that's just bolt on right?

I'm thinking after all the other little things I've done like the bars and mirrors, that should be pretty basic.

Thanks forum - and no I do not have her back yet. Still waiting...but hey it's was 19 degrees this morning so no big deal.

A plug-n-play installation. Toughest part was getting the rubber base to sit properly in place as I tightened the bolts down. Pre-wired harness plug makes this installation a no-brainer.

yep...the rubber base is a bit of a pain. One thing that i did, i put a strip of rubber (a strip of rubber that i had laying around from my mountain bike head light kit) under the license plate so it would scratch the fender.

Just called the dealership - since I can't get the bike until tomorrow they're going to put on the back lamps, but I don't think they are the Lucas Bolt-Ons shown above - they're really small and the turn indicators are tiny - very cool looking, not sure what brand.

I'm gonna check newbonneville and figure it out.

If you wouldn't mind...

Pics when you're done please Drew. I want to repalce my front and rear indicators. With the new bars installed the fronts are in the way. The more I look at the indicators and brake light the more I'm reminded of an old juke-box. They'd fit right in on an old Wurlitzer...

Cheers,

SK

I haven't seen them, but looking at the vendors' sites, I don't think that all of the Lucas light sets are plug'n'play. Some require drilling, etc.

Yeah man, I'll post pics once I get the bike back tomorrow - the only bummer is I gotta wait to get the front lamps - they weren't in stock...

Here's what I'm getting -

http://www.newbonneville.com/html/bu...er_lights.html

http://www.newbonneville.com/html/bo...taillight.html

I think they ordered these for the front -
