Question for UK members with IKONs

I'm planning to change my front and rear springs and shocks for progressive front springs and IKON rear shocks. Have any of you sourced these parts from UK stockists. If so, which ones? How was the service, etc.?

ikon shocks

Odysseus,

I bought these from Mototwin for my first bike, they worked beautifully out of the box. Especially two-up, which the standard shocks didn't. I was going to buy a set for my new bike, but got a pair of zrx shocks which I'll try first.

here's Mototwin's page for Ikons, they also do longer ones for Thruxton and Scrambler:

Ikons

I got mine from SRM. I would highly recommend both Ikons and SRM. I wanted black bodies and black springs which were a special order and they got them from Australia in a couple of weeks. Gary is the man to talk to.

229 pounds plus 40 pounds (17.5%) VAT! About US$540 total, before shipping.

I bought my Ikon 7610s from NewBonneville for US$349 and no sales tax (due to a legal loophole in American laws whereby sales tax is not charged for many--but not all--interstate mail order transactions). I think that the shrouded model is US$399 or so. And our domestic shipping rates are relatively inexpensive.

We seem to be lucky here with prices for everything Bonneville, in spite of complaints about same.

Thanks for all the responses! I think I'm going to have to phone MotoTwin, because I was hoping to find shocks with black springs and bodies too, and the site only shows chrome. Also, the site shows the 7610 shocks, but I've heard a few good things about the 7614s. I would imagine that they have a few things in stock that they haven't updated on their website.
