It looks a little SCARY Pic's

It looks a little scary but, so far every has gone smooth.
No problems getting every thing apart. I hope every thing
goes as smooth on the assembly.
I will be bringing the jugs to a local machine shop that has
a good reputation for engine work to get a quote.
If they can keep it close to $300.00 I will have them do the work.
If they are to high then I will ship them out to Seeley Engine Machine
In New York they already quoted me $300.00 but, I will have to add shipping.
Seeley Machine was recommended by Pat.
Meanwhile I will be working on making the battery box so I can eliminate
the stock air box and use the K&N pod filters.
Next will be the clutch and I have been thinking about the FCR carbs but I
may wait on them to see what the 904 gives me first.
I am glad I have all winter because I may need it to put every thing back together.

from this

to this in about 6 hours

the other side

a little closer look

see part 2 I think that's all the pic's I can post?

I hope to have everything back together and broken in before the Bennington Bash.

SCCTrim
Yes, she came apart real fast I just hope she goes back together as easy
as she came apart.
I will do the port polish my self with some tools we have we have at work.
I will bring the head with me to the engine machine shop tomorrow and ask
about putting in 1mm bigger valves.

Sweat
I have all the caps marked 1-6 and arrowed forward
I also have all the shim and buckets marked. I will have to change out
all the shims because they are all out of spec.

I still have a lot of work in front of me. I have all winter so I will take my time.
I have a lot of other little things I want to do like add some air horns
and rewire the running lights so they will be on there own switch.
and just general cleaning all the places I could never get to before.
I am so looking forward the spring. I hope this is all worth it.
Bill

Awesome man.......They do go back together as easily as apart cept maybe the vavle shim ciphering. You actually have to think there.

Glad to see someone smart enough to be doing this while it is nasty out. Wasn't me.
