extra connector on LH switch assmbly
I am putting back together my newly purchased collision damaged Bonneville.
I bought the LH switch assembly and the new piece seems to have an extra white 2 pin connector on it. I took a horrible picture of it but I am curious where that connector might go. Any body seen it before?

It's for the "flash to pass" switch on the UK models.

Thanks. I guess I can just trim it off and insulate the wires. I hope the rest of the harness connects correctly.
I have to say, this is the best MC forum out there. There is more enthusiasm and help "fast" here than I have ever seen.
Thanks again.
Bye the Bye. I am in love with my new Triumph. She is a pearl in the swine right now but I will have her back to new after a little surgery.
I ordered a brand new scarlet/silver tank from bike bandit, silver side covers/contempory seat with the grey /black,new brushed alum front fender, heritage tank badges, sport rear lighting set, and lots more. I bought her broken and didn't pay that much so I can afford to make her my way.
I have a lot of questions coming I am sure as I put her back together.

Why not just leave it in place? I don't know what it's for, but unfortunately there's no "flash to pass" button on my UK Bonneville.

The only problem with leaving it in place is that it will just hang loose in the air. There is nothing to connect it to.
I thought maybe it was for the nitrous bottle trigger switch

Like this one?
I could have sworn that UK/Europe models had a "pass" switch. Hell, who knows what it is for now...heated grips maybe

It's for the turn signal on the cruisers. Just tuck it in the cavity when you put the switch on the bar.

I think so, they look nice and adjustablity is easy. There are stock looking adjustables that do the same thing, but I find that they are a little more difficult to adjust on the fly.

That's the dangly bit to put in the hot tea for the improbability drive.
You didn't say what year Bonnie, but my US 06 has a flash-to-pass switch on it
