In case you haven't seen the new EFI yet, here are some pictures I took. As far as I'm concerned: well done, Triumph!

My problem with them keeping the retro "look" is that they shouldn't look like those, they should look like this...

Mcqueen
When I bought the bike it was warm out so it started after a couple of cranks.
Once it is warm it runs fine, no stalling, etc.
Now it is cold outside and the starter tries to crank the engine but it wont even turn over.
The only mod is I had the AI removed.
I am sure it is too lean

The engine not turning ove rhas nothing to do with fuel delivery, carbs, FI, drip of wick...

Panther - is that an Amal slide carb? Brings back great memories re my BSA A10 with single carb. My left hand glove always smelled like gasoline. Wonder why? Which was a good thing!

GID,
Just to clarify, you say it cranks but the motor won't turn over? Or is it cranking over but not starting?
If you're pressing the start button and the motor isn't turning over, then you'll need to recharge your battery. If you don't have one, get a motorcycle trickle charger from any motorcycle shop.
Once you're charged up, try and start it with the choke on full. If it's just cranking and cranking, try twisting the throttle open about 1/4 turn quickly and releasing it.
If you had the AI removed, here's one thing to check (since they removed your gas tank to do it): take off the gas cap before you try to start it. If it starts, then shut it down. Reach under the right side of the gas tank, about halfway back. Find the small rubber hose there and make sure it's connected to the spigot on the tank. Then follow the hose all the way back to make sure there are no pinches or kinks in it. That is your tank breather tube. If it gets pinched off, you'll have poor performance, poor gas flow, etc.
These bikes come lean to pass emissions. And mine was a hard starter when it was cold even with choke fully on. Changing your pilot jet from a 40 to 42 will work wonders on cold starts.
Changing the jets is a very straightforward operation. You need not be a certified Triumph mechanic to work on these bikes. Get yourself a Haynes manual and take a look. Take your time, and you should be able to do it yourself in less than 30 minutes.
cheers

Yuppers. You remember the old joke:
How can you tell your bike's a boy bike?
Just give it a test tickle...

This weekend was nice here in middle TN.
I added a few cosmetic parts to my Bonnie then tried to start her again (this has been an on going delima)
After about 15 cranks she fired up, I grabbed my gear and took off. When I got home the Mrs was standing on the porch with her riding gear so we took off. A nice 50 mile ride was had. It was very good to get the Bonnie running again.
I think today I will order the TORs and ride her to the dealer for the related work
