Triumph logo fell off
Seems the Triumph the logo on the RHS of the engine fell off in the last week or so. It's not like someone stole it as it's always parked securely. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe I'll ask the stealer to replace it when he replaces the valve cover gasket for the third time!

Yeah, mine vanished, too. Have a new one, but am waiting for warmer weather to glue it on.

This could be a cool opportunity.
Go to barry's bike badges. They carry a lapel pin that's a reproduction of the old triangular patent plate. It's a really pretty piece done up in cloisonne (baked enamel over chromed copper). You could get one of those and grind the pin off the back, then epoxy it into place. Not a bad fix for $8.

You can find some old originals on Ebay, good time to go that route!

It's held on with adhesive, but the engine cover gets so hot the adhesive softens and the tag falls off. They need to use an adhesive that can stand up to the temperatures.

Hmmm
My bike is new and I noticed the logo on the engine seems like it is poorly adhered. I wonder if I should pull it off and re-glue it, but what glue is best and can withstand high temps?

I've repaired broken-off fins on air-cooled motors by simply gluing 'em back in place with expoxy. That being said, I'm told that most rapid-set (5 minute) "epoxy" is actually a polyester resin, so I'd be wary of it not holding up at higher temperatures. A slow-setting resin like JB Weld, on the other hand, would likely hold up just fine. Just be sure to remove all traces of previous adhesive from both surfaces first.
