Once more -- the unexpected!
Who's of thunk it? 'Specially when he was in his prime. Evel Knievel died in bed of natural causes.

A final surprise from a master showman!

I grew up watching him also. He used to use Triumphs for the jumps before the Harley's, R.I.P. Evel.

That sucks!! He's been sick for many years- liver transplant I thought? Too bad- I remember all of his GREAT jumps incl the ones that didnt go so well. He got a little on the heavy (Money) side w/ the Grand Canyon jump in the "Rocket " motorcycle. He waas an Icon tho!! May he R.I.P!

It gets us all eventually. I saw a biography special on him a few weeks ago. I totally forgot about him being locked up for assault. He was the first and now that I think about it the last true daredevil I remember. He's spent years trying to kill himself and he goes of "natural" causes. Ride on Evil!
