Usable Bonnie/Scrambler saddle bags...

I've heard the citybags are a bit small...any other saddlebags out there that has a similar "vintage" appearance but works well on these bikes?

I have the Leatherlyke bags. http://www.leatherlyke.com/

Note that you have to purchase the chrome grab handle from Triumph.

Wow

Those leatherlyke bags are, rather, well, they are functional. Look at the K-Drive lockable bags at hindsmotorsports.com

I've gone for the LeatherLyke bags for my T100, same as roundblack. I tried the K-Drive, but found that, with the Triumph sissy bar I had installed, I would have had to alter the mounting hardware they supplied. The LeatherLyke bags actually 'require' the sissy bar (or the grab rail as stated by roundblack), as they utilise the mounting bolts of same.

I'm very pleased with them.
Dave.

Saddlebags on T100 & Scrambler

Fitted Leatherlyke saddlebags on the T100 I used to own and have fitted a single bag on my new scrambler.
On T100 made up a rail from shock mount to a clamp on the carrier and fitted a HD Sportster saddlebag stay to keep the bag clear of the suspension. Made bobbins to retain QD facility of bags and put a clip on the rear of the bag that slid over the stay to stop the bag wobbling. Plenty of room and easily removable.
On Scrambler cut a throwover set in half for the bag. Made a L shape rail to go from carrier to lefthand footrest mount. Looped bag top (from cut centre section) over carrier rail then bolted to back of bag, also bolted bag to bottom of L rail. Bag quite small, fullsize (leatherlyke size) were too big to fit neatly, but large enough for lock, sarnies and waterproofs.

These are the bags I have. Both the saddlebags and the tail bag. They are easy on and easy off. They don't require any bars or support brackets. I bought them at newenough.com. I figure there is enough room for me to go for a week at a time. Granted I'll have to pack really good.
The bags are made by Cortech which is part of Tour Master

Do you have any pics of those Cortech bags on your Bonnie?
