Does anyone know if Thruxton pipes will fit a regular Bonneville without modifications? I would think so, but checking with those in the know. I'm looking to get some pipes with more ground clearance on my bonnie and I might have a good line on some Thruxton TORs.

Along the same lines, will Scrambler pipes fit a bonnie? From pics it looks like there may be an extra mounting point on the scrambler but not sure.

I know you cannot just swap the muffler portion. I think the kink is different in the headers between the Thrux and Bonnie. If your changing the entire system should not be a problem, same motor, same frame. Not sure on the Scrambler whats different besides the side cover.

i got my thrucks on e bay $ 80...and em fit with a mallet hitting da inside of each muff. so bending da inlet inwards..sounds brutel but works then made up a alloy curved plate with hose clip pop riveted to cover up small bulge...looksgreat...........do it

Thrux-ton-up

Thrux system will bolt on a bonnie, some have even claimed to bolt thrux mufflers on bonnie pipes with no problems, haven't tried that myself. If your goal is to get rid of the "kink" then thrux pipes will do that.

What about going the other way and bolting the Bonnie pipes on the Thrux. Personally I like the the Thruxton pipes, but my buddy wants to switch his Thruxton to the pea shooters.
