sorry to hear about that.

You can try BikeBandit here http://www.bikebandit.com/Triumph/oem-parts

You can try calling Bonnieville Perfermance (east coast usa) Or South Bay Triumph (west coast usa). They might have one laying around.
You could try a salvage yard that specializes in bikes.

sorry I can't be of more help.

Warranty issue?

I have to ask, not knowing more of the story, is it under warranty?

Major bummer man. Sounds like an expensive lesson about something. Yeah, I too would love to know the story but if it were my story I am not sure how forth coming I would be. ...... naaaaaaaw man, you got to tell!

Good luck bidding on the engine......both of you!

budmike9191, if you end up buying/bidding on that motor and winning it there are a few parts I would like to have, namely the engine cases and the crank. If you get it for the head I'm willing to buy the other parts off you. That, or I'll buy it and sell you the head. I've stripped the engine down to the cases before so it's familiar territory for me.

I guess it depends on how that auction goes. I'll keep an eye on it.
