That 66 is SSOOooooooo hot!!
I love my 2007 but I just may have to have an older project bike in the garage.

I'd post a picture, but don't know how, and am not computer literate. I can manage to get a digi pic on my Mac's hard drive , but that about it - how large should a picture be for reasonable viewing on this forum? If you guys can teach me how to post pics I'll start taking pics of my mods for you to see.
Thanks, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hi, Dick, and a Happy Thanksgiving aftermath to you, too! What's the look you're trying to achieve? Keep the US style bar style on all your bikes, or run lower bars on the new Bonnie? Here's what I run on my T100, and I've been happy with them:

And an added plus, an unsolicited comment re your W650! If (IMHO) you want to drastically improve the overall feel of your W650, I'd give the Kaw low bars a try. I ordered mine from a Kaw dealer in the UK back in 02, and ran them until I sold the bike earlier this year. It came with shorter cables. The bar was necked down to accommodate the controls just like the stock bars .... ne shimming a set of 7/8" bars where they mount. Here's a link that shows the low bar kit installed, sitting next to Monte's Bonnie with the stock Triumph handlebars. Nice looking 2001 in Green and Cream you have, BTW.

Nice bikes Dick. Jeez...
I see what you mean about the bars though. Maybe "western" bars on your T-100 will put it closer to your other bikes?

I have m-bars on mine, and love the look/position. Thanks for the post.
James
PS- How are those classic badges working out? I didn't see them on your bike.

I used my stock cables with these bars with no problem. We probably did a little slipping and sliding of the cables to take up sone slack .... don't recall. I don't have any specs for these bars, nor does the MotoTwins website. I like riding with these bars, but will admit that with my 32" sleeve length, I could probably use a bar that had another half inch of rise, and probably the same amount toward the rear of the bike for slow in-town riding. Once up to speed on the highway, where there's available wind support (no windshield on my Bonnie), I have no issues with the bars. Also, the bars are relatively short, which means you push a bit harder when countersteering into a turn. I personally like this feel, since for me, it gives the bike more of that 'on rails' stability.
I'd suggest dropping a line to MotoTwins to see if they can supply specs for these bars.
I don't know if BC or NB sell these bars under a different description in the US.
Bob

Thanks Bob. I'm actually headed to UK tomorrow for a few days of business, I will stop by Kawi dealer that is adjacent to our offices near Brands Hatch and see if they can order up a set of the UK spec bars for me.
As far as my T100, I think I'm going to see if I can find a set of Flanders bars that are normally used on a (Lord, excuse me for this) a HD Sportster. The dimensions are pretty close to the W650 and the 66, but are about 1.5" narrower spread.
My 68 - which I know is stock since I've owned the bike since late '67 - has a slightly narrower set of bars. When I worked at the Triumph dealer we were always surprised how many running changes were made on TR's that were never well documented in the parts books.
Dick

Hi James
I have the set of tank badges you sold me on the other T100 - the one that is now under 18" of snow and 7*F Temp - frigid Montana! It will be about 6 months before I see it again.
