Thruxton Seat Reshape & Retrim - Photos
The guy came to me and stripped, reshaped and retrimmed the seat in 90 minutes!!! The hump is shorter, higher and curves more steeply down to the rear light, to mimic the curve of the rear of the alloy tank.

He did all that in 90 minutes? That's a great looking seat on a classic bike! Nicely done.

Rob - that seat is much for fitting to the bikes classic styling, looks great. Piping is a very nice touch as well.

Thats awesome man. The seat looks great, the bike fantastic.

A friend of mine carved out her stock Thrux seat, lowered it etc and it is really hard to tell. I would like to do the same to some degree but I am scared! I think it would be hard to glue the foam back together once I screwed it up. Maybe one day I will grow cods.

That tank seat combo ..........well done!

Hey I just noticed those handles coming out from the sides of the license plate? Sorry I was looking more closely at that awesome bike... anyway what are those for. .. Skitching in the snow.

Oh in case skitching doesn't make it through translation... when we were kids in brooklyn and it would snow bad the cars were traveling pretty slow. A bunch of us would hide and then run out and grab the underside of the back bumper and ski on top of the snow with our sneakers. Usually until the driver noticed and hit the brakes laughing as he heard the thumps. Yes it was a different world then ... no nintendo!

But back to those handles

Looks great!
BTW- If anyones interested, I have a Triumph Solo seat that was damaged in shipping by FEDEX. Pan is perfect, foam got a little burned on front edge. I started lowering it but decided I didn't really need it. I had a buyer for it but still haven't received any money or heard back from him. PM me if interested. I will relist it soon.

Alex

Those handles are turn indicators.
