I guess if bike week offically starts the 29th of Feb which is a Fri I would think of heading down that Thursday afternoon. Got to figure out somewhere to stay, I tend to be a camground kinda guy but with inverters etc, heck I have a generator for that matter but typically would not bring it but we will need heat gun and soldering iron. Tarps, awnings etc in case of faul weather. Last year we stayed at the ABATE deal which was cool if not a bit far from the happenings.

Would be a good way to start the week. Get everything sorted then ride.

Shoot yeah Greg, bend away. I used the cheap metal break from Harbor Freight but it could be done on a good vice. Tin snips, a drill and pop rivets is about all it takes. I did powder coat mine but black spray bombs work too.

I hope this pans out, the folks I have talked to here about the trip are stoked and were months away. Geesh, only like three and a half....where does the time go?
