Just try typing "bob fender" into the search link at the top of the page then pick the Triumph Twins forum. Then get your Dremel out.

did you find the link?

I bobbed mine recently, with a dremel and a metal cutter disk. worked out well, just take it slow.

Yah, and look for cut fender, elimination etc. I've cut mine back a couple of times. First time with the fender insalled, second time removed since I was painting it too. Very easy job with my rotozip.

Arrow My recomendation . . .

Jersey - I'm gonna make a recommendation to you. I was all set to do the same thing and was going to put on the safety glasses and get the Dremel out - until - my old friend UncleCharlie talked me out of it. He suggested that I buy the bobbed fender at MADSS which cost me $148.75 delivered free on FREE Fridays! I immediately thought - that's a waste of $150 buck I can use elsewhere. Long story short - I took his advise and bought it and it is a sweet piece. Comes in Black which was perfect for my Bonne Black, had the Lucas style indent already there for the taillight, had 3 nice holes pre-drilled for wiring, and had 4 nice hangers up inside of the fender for snaking the wiring harness back to the seat. I did the tail light and blinker conversion at the same time so it all went seamlessly. I took the stock fender and tail light assembly off in one piece, bubble wrapped it and shelved it into inventory for the future. Who knows, when I'm 80 years old I hope to still be riding but if I'm not I might just give the bike away to some wide-eyed kid who reminds me of myself when i was his age and he will get the bike with every factory part it came with. That's my 2 cents!

Jersey, Before you whack your stock fender, troll eBay for a Thruxton rear mudguard...they pop up quite a bit. They are identical to the bobbed fender sold by Triumph. I got a metal Thrux fender for $40, had it painted black, and, like Hedge, kept the original.
