Corbin "Smuggler" seat on a Scrambler ???
Wondering if anyone has ever installed or considered installing a Corbin "Smuggler" seat on a Scrambler??? I can't see any reason that they wouldn't fit.....and it sure would be nice to have at least SOME storage space...and they sure do look cool........!!!!

I got my wife one for her Bonnie, color matched (perfect! - I was apprensive but it is truly perfect). It looks great.
I got a Corbin seat for my Commando too, but didn't get the Smuggler trunk, and truth be told, I regret it.
Now, the dang trunk doesn't hold much, but you know, a bungee net, cell phone, quarters for meters, and a bottle of water - nice stuff to have.
Pricey, to be sure. That is what made me NOT get the Smuggler for the Commando. As I said, I regret it (the Corbin seat, on the other hand, is primo - have 'em on 3 of my 4 bikes (I count the wife's to get to 4), and I ALSO regret buying a Sargent (nice enough seat, though) for the Duck. - NB

I've never heard of them, so I checked their website ( & here's the link http://www.corbin.com/triumph/bonnevillesmuggler.shtml).
I can't see why they wouldn't fit on a Scrambler, as long as the seat mounting bolt's are the same as a Bonnie. & it doesn't look like the high pipes would be a problem.
My only concern with it is entirely subjective. & that is, I prefer the shape of Triumph's solo seat for the Scrambler. Although the Corbin looks like it'd be easilly as comfortable. So that's just personal preference. I wouldn't mind the under-seat luggage capacity though. Very handy

ShoSpeedMaster, you can order it anytime at the Corbin website, best wishes for the holidays and ride safe. FYI there is a used black smuggler on ebay as of this writing, 4 days left on the auction, currently 1 bidder at $350. Maybe there is a Santa after all
Here's the ebay link -

Cool. I read about the truck lid doesn't close well... Some of the members experienced a large gap.... Is this normal?

ShoSpeedMaster - The fit and finish that aligns the cover properly was obviously done by a crappy or lazy tech at Corbin. I believe my 2 cents is in that cover alignment thread also. I emailed that whole forum link to the Corbin sales person that took care of my online order to let them know what's kicking around with that seat issue. I'm not sure why (again online order at Corbin.com) but my seat came out of the Florida store, the workers in the California branch may have some issues since all the illegals were cleaned out a few years ago. If you are interested in the ebay seat that's up for grabs now, you can see in the pics provided that the cover sits properly. If the guy that has the current bid wins it at $350, he's getting a smuggler at half the cost.

Fumanchew - is it hard to remove the truck to get painted to match? I have the Brookland Green Thruxton.
