Removed the airbox baffle plate from Scrambler - tip
Just finished removing the baffle plate from my Scrambler airbox. I did it from the right hand side by loosening the exhaust and swinging it away enough to gain access but it was a difficult, fiddly and time-consuming job involving long-nose Vise grips to remove some screws.
I should've listened to my dealer who said to remove the back wheel and slide the airbox out before attempting the plate removal. On reflection that would've been much easier.
By the way, nice induction noise now (de-snorkled too). Just waiting on the K&N.
:-)
