Seems the staintunes aren't *too* loud. I consider swapping out the stock pipes sometimes, but want something that's not offensively loud - seems the Staintunes might be a good choice. Is there a significant difference between the two styles? I'd like the peashooters because they're low and leave more space for bags and stuff.

I'm still running the stock exhaust (I know, I know). Anyway, I want to upgrade to either NH Togas, "Sprints/teardrops" from NB/Bellacorse, or (and I think the best looking) the Specialty Spares Pea Shooter System.

I've got a center stand and side stand. I heard that people have issues with the kickstands making contact with the pipes/exhaust. Can anyone comment on this? I'm most interested in the SS Peashooter so info about that system would be great.

Thanks!

Thanks for posting this. The price is RIGHT on this kit, and it sounds pretty good too. I like how it maintains the look of the bike while fixing the sound.

I've got Staintunes on my Speedmaster, I find them plenty loud enough with the baffles in (95db), while at the same time giving the bike a nice exhaust note, they also have the option of removing the baffles which gives 100db. These pipes don't come cheap, but they are a quality product and being stainless steel should last a lond time, even the baffle packing is stainless steel wool.

D&D 2:1 exhaust?

Has anyone seen or heard the D&D 2 to 1 exhaust in use? I'm strongly considering ordering the set with an Airbox elimination kit. I'd like to hear an opinion from someone besides the dealer selling to me.

thnx
