Clamp007 - What don't you like about the TOR's on your Scrambler?

Mmmm, it's tough. I like them at certain RPM's & certain gears like 4th & 5th, but they're quite high pitched at times. Something throatier like the ones I mentioned, the Dunstalls, would sound cool.

D&D's for sale in classifieds- I have only gotten bites from Thruxton owners, they will not fit Thruxton models with Thruxton headers. For Bonneville and T100 only. I will probably list them on ebay if they don't sell soon here.

Curious what these bad boys sound like.

$650 from newbonneville.com.

Don't know if that's for the pipes only, or the whole system.

Those look like stock headers, so I would guess that they are bolt-on exhaust pipe only.

Norman Hydes on Scrambler

I wish there was something for the Scrambler, as I'm not digging my TOR's as much anymore.
I had Thunderbikes on my Scrambler, good power, too loud and too much of a Harley sound. Now I have Norman Hyde silencers, they look great and sound as good as they look. I have a Nark kit with larger main jets and both sets of silencers (Norman hyde - Thunderbike) seem to have a very similar effect on the power my Scrambler makes.

Dominators

I guess this are from newbonneville.com
According to New Bonneville there Dominators are loader than TOR's.

Since we all seem to be trying to make our Modern Classics sound like the Meridens', here is a video I just found of an old one.
Enjoy!

Does anyone know if there is a problem installing the 24" dunstalls vs the 27" 'ers that most people install?

Speedy Pipes

Hi guys, I'm new here. I just bought a new 07 Speedmaster. Its still in its crate. I know that I want to change the exhaust tone ASAP. As far as performance goes, I'll take it, of course but performance isn't my concern. I want the bike to sound good and throaty. My dealer says that Bubs are the way to go, but I haven't heard them. I saw a utube clip of Specialty Spares that sound good. Any suggestions? Check out the Spares.
