I'm kind of torn between the dual-exhaust look and the sound and performance of the Arrow system. Any suggestion? Is there a system that has both style and performance with a deep rumble sound?
I am running D&D TT Street duals with the NARK and love them. You have to watch the ground clearance but they work well.

D&D Full Race or Performance TT System?

Hey does anyone know if the D&D Full Race or performance TT System can be mounted with the center stand? I have an 08 Bonnie Black and love the look but don't want to have to choose between the two (stand vs. exhaust)...Hoping I can do both...

Also does anyone have the performance model with a sound clip or video? Thanks

Wonder if this would be too loud to bolt on. :-)

The D&D TT's will not work the centerstand. I removed mine.

Drill out vs. new pipes?

New member here -- great site.

Just bought '08 bonnie blk. Any thoughts on drilling out the stock pipes vs. buying replacements? Cost/benefit? Recommended inner diameter? I assume will need to rejet carbs either way. Not looking for anything too loud, just a little more power. I'm also thinking about doing the airbox removal with this.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.

Scrambler NH Togas

Just installed my new NH Togas on my scrambler this afternoon. Picked them up from Brent (NB) on Friday.

Did not need any rejetting (I had TORs before), but I did pull the snorkel. It runs and sounds great. I will get the air box removed in a few weeks to complete the job. Will post a vid soon.

Thanks for posting the tip Sparkplug. I started looking for a center-stand I guess I'll hold off until I get my pipes figured out.

I found out the Arrow Performance makes a dual exhaust system for the Thruxton, it's a chuck of change ($1300) but the performance is huge. Has anyone put these pipes on their Bonnie? If so post some pics.

Bonneville TOGA's

Just got my Norman Hyde Toga's in by mail this morning; an hour later they were installed and growling....!
I have a centre- and side stand intalled and everything fits well, since I had TOR's before I did not need remapping for the fuel-injection.
They look great, in my opinion, and they make the perfect sound: a deep, low noise, not too loud but head-turning loud enough when I open the throttle!
Driving slowly with low power you can easily leave home on a Sunday morning.

In short; I am happy I made this choice and I'll make some pictures and sound-recordings to post here later.

ps TOR's for sale, used for only 2000km

Howdy, this is my first post so I figured I'll offer some info rather then asking all kinds of questions (which is sure to follow).

I just installed the Sprint mufflers from New Bonneville. They are loud!! Almost too loud for my taste. They sound good though. Really deep throaty growl. My neighbors have a 5 month old and I'm sure they now hate me.

I haven't re-jetted at all yet, but Brent at NB suggested 118 mains and unchanged pilots as a starting point. So far without the re-jet it's actually running quite well although I'm not really experienced enough to be confident in that statement. It did backfire once or twice when shifting from 1st to 2nd but after a few minutes it either stopped or I "found the sweet spot" when shifting and it doesn't happen now.

My only complaint is the side stand does not clear the new pipes. I'll probably just attach some rubber or something to the stand to soften the blow. I don't have a center stand but the new mounting brackets appear to have a stop to accommodate one.

Cheers!
Mike

actually.... now that I think about it, the side stand probably sat on the old pipes in exactly the same way....I just never gave it a thought before! yes??
