only this.....

you get what you pay for. I think the Specialty Spares are EMGO's or equivilent, NH seems to take forever to get them and cost $$.
Check out EPCO.

It makes me interested in those Predators; have you seen/heard those ?

Sorry mate, I didn't see this post until this morning.

Over two months had passed and Hyde still couldn't provide a solid ship date, so I cancelled the order. The sad part is if they could have given me a "real" time frame when the order would have been shipped, I would have waited.

I ended up going with the EPCO low exhaust and should have them in the next seven to ten days.

That's must faster then NH...
I would like to read how you like those EPCO's; looking at their web-site they look well-made and in the clip they sound pretty good!
After the weekend I'll give NH a call and if he can't tell me anything new I am afraid I will cancel the silencers as-well...

I insalled the EPCOs yesterday afternoon and the sound clips and youtube videos just don't do the exhaust justice.

They are quite tame while cruising at 40mph plus. However, when accelerating or under a load they are quite loud. The fit and finish looks pretty good and they are considerably lighter the stock cans.

I haven't quite sorted out the jetting and mixture yet. I went with 118's as I'm using the stock air box with the factory paper filter and snorkle. The bike seems to run and idle well, without any surging, but I'm not experienced enough to know for certain if I've got it right.

warranty

I am getting ready to put new exhaust on the bonnie. Thinking either predators or TORS. I think I would rather have the preds but I am worried about my warranty. Have any of you tried to get warranty service after changing pipes?

I've read threads on here that it wouldn't affect your warranty. BTW, I have a set of BC Predators for sale in the Classifieds at a good price!

Unhappy NH Peashooters

Talked to NH today, apparently they returned their stock of Silencers to the supplying factory because they found some imperfections.
They are actually visiting the plant today to sort out the problems and hopefully they can ship good quality silencers again tomorrow;
I have decided to wait for their answer (or better, the actual product!) till the end of this week.

I have an 08 B-Black and am looking for a peformance exhaust. Does anyone out there know anything about D&D Performance Exhaust? I just came from a local dealer and they had a bonnie with an Arrow 2-1 exhaust system and it sounded great. I'm kind of torn between the dual-exhaust look and the sound and performance of the Arrow system. Any suggestion? Is there a system that has both style and performance with a deep rumble sound?

pipe idea

I've got a set of Specialty Spares Dunstalls on my T100 now but I want something a little more raw. I've got a 50ft roll of black fiberglass exhuast wrap I'd like to try out. Here's where my question is I guess. Should I wrap the stock header pipes(the previous owner kept them and gave them to me) or should I see about having someone just fab me a set out of simple tubing? Are exhaust flanges readily available for these bikes? If they're gonna be wrapped anyhow I can crapily tack weld them up myself if I can get the flanges.
