Risers work for me, too.
Another vote for the risers...I agree with the weight off the wrists comment. The brake line was too tight after raising the bars in my opinion, however, and a new one with a few more inches was needed for my comfort level. Also, the clutch cable will pull back against the pipe and melt if you don't relocate a guide or use a cable tie. All other wiring, harnesses, etc. seem fine.
