Do you like the big tank design? I am still thinking it does not look as 'true' to the Bonneville design of the late 60's early 70's. The visual clues these bikes bring to the enthusiast are important. Interested to hear what other people think.

Monkeybone I think the reality is that as we get Thai built bikes we are not going to get them until at least next year as ADR does not require it. You know, the people who insisted that the original 916 was unsafe with the original lighting equipment and had to have a square headlight. The only rego authority in the WORLD who had a problem! So big tank but no techno items in the extra space inside it.

Must admit that I was thinking that we, like the US were not being directly affected by Euro IV emission rules - glad to be proved wrong. It would be helpful though if Triumph Australia would get their site sorted out so that we can see Australian bikes for 2008, their specs and prices. The UK site and I believe others were sorted a good month ago.

called a few dealers in perth wa the other day...and were not getting efi models till next year, they have the big tank...to house the fuel pump but no efi....this is poor marketing by triumph.
they know its quite easy for use to look on uk websites and see they new models...and if they don,t relase them here people will hold off buying the bonnies till they do release them....me being one of them...or maybe i,ll just go by a ducati instead....i wish they would get their act together with the oz authorities
