Pin-Stripe example

Here's a pic of the 2, 1/4 in pinstripes on the front fender if anyone wants to get an idea of what it looks like

Nice. Questions though:

How did the pin stripes get done, by you?

How did your camera transpose the brake to the right side?

I've been toying with the idea of stripping the outer edges of the fenders, like on the old Beemers.

I striped it myself. Pretty easy actually. Any auto parts store has the 40ft rolls for about 5-. I took some striping w/out unpeeling it to get an idea how it looks and bends.

I took the pics w/ my computer and it came out reversed.

I had 1/8 in on the front fender but didnt like it so I went to the 1/4 which accents it better.

Patience is your friend when striping.

I like the way the 60's Triumphs were striped using colors from the tank with pinstripes (coachlines) used to separate the colors.
