Rodburner - you motivated me to action.

Steve - after asking about the project bike - you motivated me into action today. So I added the old Thrux tank, repaired and replaced sections of the wire harness, installed a colmplete new front end - forks, yokes, caliper, stem, bearings, axel, headlight mounts and turn signals, and handle bar mounts. Hammered the dent out of the front fender. Put it back together and cruised around the block. I know - no front brake hose yet, and still need a headlight and instrument cluster.

Got alot done for an afternoon!

<Rodburner - you motivated me to action.>

Steve sure has a way of doing that, doesn't he?

Can't sit around for long with the Rodbobber out there, prowling some darkened highway somewhere... so ya'll get those mods sorted, & get those bikes built, or expect an otherworldly sounding triumph twin rolling into your driveway late one night, followed by an ominous pounding on the door... and don't even think about opening that door without at least a grinder in one hand and and welding torch in the other...

Cheers,

D9

Well I'd have to say it's most likely a spelling error... since I can type the word "damaged".

Wasn't a real bad wreck - this pic shows most of the damage besides the destroyed tank- the new front end I picked up on the cheap for my own piece of mind. Had to cut the headlight off with a hack saw - crushed so badly I could not get the wires out. My goal at this point is a working bike the GA DOT can inspect and give me a title.
