More Pics More Mods.

Here are my latest additions - Lucas alloy taillight. Smaller chrome bullet winkers, LSL bar slider on the throttle side (elimination of one mirror), Thruxton headlight mounts and front winker mount. Ignition relocated to right side mount.

OOhhhh and so very very clean !! Bike looks bad ass!

Ok question's .. what seat is that, shocks and what is that union jack thingy by the side cover. Did you raise the bike? there seems to be a lot of clearance between the wheel and fender.
Nice bike man
Alex

Thanks Alex - seat, exhaust, Nitro shocks, and Tax Disc - all came off my Thruxton rebuild. Bike has Bonnie length shocks - maybe the springs are not "settled" - I rolled the bike out and rocked it on its stand.

Thanks Steve

Wrecked bike is coming along slowly - I have all the parts needed except speedo/tach and headlight unit to get the bike through the salvage process of the GA inspection to get it titled. Then this winter the mods shall begin - but this is a long term project - probably over a year - due to to too many irons in the fire and trying to avoid divorce over expenditures.

Thumbs up Beautiful!

John - she looks outstanding! I have a couple of questions.

You mentioned that you added "LSL bar slider on the throttle side (elimination of one mirror), Thruxton headlight mounts".

Is the LSL Bar Slider some kind of end cap on the right handle bar that protects? I don't get why you need that to eliminate 1 mirror. The other question is why did you go to a Thrux headlight mount? What's the advantage? Sorry man - I'm just always pruning these threads for good useful information. I love my bike and when I see a bike I like I ask questions because I have a thirst for knowledge and want to grab as much of the trickle down from you Master Wrenches as I can.

John,
Man the bike looks great! All the Thrux parts just fix sooo well. Question though, which and how do you like the blinkers. They look bada$$, but are they bright enough?

John (Hedge), The Thrux head light bracket is really just smaller and might save alittle weight. Looks killer IMO, but you will need to relocate the blinkers as you see in the photos. From pix, looks like it would be easier to chop and lower the headlight itself too. But I was planing on getting the LSL brackets for that reason.

T-up...

Great pic... she's lookin' good!... a reminder of just how
good a bonnie can look with just a few well-considered mods...
one thing I'm struck by is how the rear fender clearance (which I tend to
want to see decreased) - in
the picture appears even greater than that of a stock T100 - yet somehow
looks exactly right on this particular bike - so, as is my habit... I'm studying
the combination of stuff... everything from the graphic mass of the inverted rear shocks... the color scheme of the bike... the contour of the seat... the unbobbed fenders... location & size of the tax tab... the mass & shape of the mufflers and the way their upward angle intersects visually with the wheel/tire where it does...just enjoying why & how it all seems to work as well as it does. And does it ever work well. Must be something in the water in Georgia... & Texas too... how else to explain the disproportionate number of outstanding Bonnevilles from down south & out west...?

Back to the rear fender clearance, perhaps looking at and getting used to the Ducati Sport 1000 with it's cavernous tire-to-fender space has altered my aesthetic...

Keep up the good work.

Cheers,

D9

Dude thanks for the info and I have a bit of advice ..... DIVORCE IS EXPENSIVE!!!!!!

There will be no money for toys and very little left for food and lodging.
Dont mess up
