Hi Thrux -
To steal a line from HedgeFundGeek (and Trading Places) - "Looking Good, Billy Ray!"
Question about the seat. Looking at your album, it appears that you've swapped the Corbin Smuggler out for the Triumph "contemporary" seat. Was that an aesthetic decision? Or do you find it to be as or more comfortable than the Corbin? How does it stack up against the standard Triumph Brick Board Plank seat?
Thankx,
TBD

Is the LSL Bar Slider some kind of end cap on the right handle bar that protects? I don't get why you need that to eliminate 1 mirror. The other question is why did you go to a Thrux headlight mount? What's the advantage? Sorry man - I'm just always pruning these threads for good useful information. I love my bike and when I see a bike I like I ask questions because I have a thirst for knowledge and want to grab as much of the trickle down from you Master Wrenches as I can.

Thanks, you crack me up with the Master Wrench stuff - Thrux headlight mount - nothing other than I like them and not the stock "ears". LSL slider - would protect the bike if it went down on that bar - but mostly because they were lying around and I had no other way to plug the end of the M bars since they do not have the threads for the stock end caps.

Thanks TBD, No - the Corbin smuggler was confiscated and added to the thrux - hating the stock bonnie seat I added the thrux seat since I sold my gunfighter to 5bassman. The thrux seat beats the bonnie board by a long shot - I can ride all day on the thrux or corbin seats both are very good.

Thanks Seth - you are still on my radar for some gauge brackets - just haven't figured out what I'm doing yet. I contact you soon though.

John (Hedge), The Thrux head light bracket is really just smaller and might save alittle weight. Looks killer IMO, but you will need to relocate the blinkers as you see in the photos. From pix, looks like it would be easier to chop and lower the headlight itself too. But I was planing on getting the LSL brackets for that reason.

Thanks Mondo - blinkers have same bulbs as stock - so work as well - just a little more compact and made of real steel. The thrux mounts can be flipped to lower the headlights - but when I did it the gauges and headlights had too much "gap" - so until I get with D9 - the headlights stays 'High".

Seriously - some of you guys are Master Wrenches, Designers, Modification Wizards, & all around out of the box abstract thinkers an I really respect you guys and that's why I am serious when I talk to you guys because you guys will know that you got a guy who really wants to learn from the Sages.
Thx - John
