Harley mirrors on Bonnie?
I don't really like my stock Mickey Mouse mirrors and want to replace them. I don't really like bar ends. Ive noticed that Harleys come with nice looking mirrors. Like these: http://www.raptorsandrockets.com/ima...0R_edited.jpeg Does anyone know if these will fit the Bonneville or if its possible to get something similar for the Bonnie?

I don't know if those are the ones, but there are some yamaha mirrors that are a direct replacment for ours w/o modification that look just like those. to be safe i will say that i'm not 100% sure they fit all the twins and derivitives.....could be only the cruisers or only the bonnies, but i'm 90% sure we all have the same mounts so they're probably a direct fit for all of use. Just ncheck first before you buy. And i'm sure some others will chime in with the details. But i have seen them many times in posts here and they look just like that.
but in any case, i found you can easily make most any mirrors fit. mine are Hd types that have a very different mounting but i just stuck em thru the hole and used a few chrome washers and viola !

You need a mirror adaptor since HD mirrors are 5/16 thread. There's a few available aftermarket. You can get one that screws the HD mirror right into the Bonnie mirror hole or one that clamps the mirror to the bar. http://www.ridegear.com/rg/item/F-49...ror-Clamp.html
I've been thinking about doing the same thing.

It doesn't matter, HD parts, Triumph parts, they're probably all made in china.

I'll be that guy!!!
I put on black short stems, when I put on my sportster R bars, and my Buell turnsignals. Looks just fine to me. I just dropped the mirror stem in the hole and cut a little thread off, so I could use the acorn nut.
For the record, the carbs are the same exact Kiehin(?) CV that H-D's use and alot of the electrical connectors are the same as well.

to each his own...
I have 07 softail mirrors on my bike and (gasp ) I have a pair of chaps too. I am confused by the term assless chaps as chaps have never had an ass or they would be pants , but for the record I do wear Levi's under them. as for the mirrors they are not quite wide enough to see directly behind me, so I look under my arm. But I do not have a blindspot. I can see cars on both sides of me, either in the mirror or in my peripheral vision. I would rather see around me than directly behind, I guess thats something I have given up for the look of these mirrors and they were $free.99, so I deal with it. BTW they bolt on directly, no wait I shortened the stem a bit w/ a hacksaw. anyway, my.02

I think these stock bike riders spend too much time at the Blue Oyster watching Village People videos while their bikes sit at home with their lonely wives. Both unridden, perhaps.
