Smile New Stuff

Hi, all. It's been awhile since I've had anything to post about, but I just took my 07 Bonnie Black in for her first service. While at the dealer, I found out that they can get British Customs parts and accessories....so I took the plunge.

I ended up ordering the BC Performance Package (Predators, ARK, AI removal kit) plus the black header pipes to match the black Preds. Hope it lives up to what everyone's said about it. My fingers are crossed that it will all be here some time next week. I'm stoked to say the least.

BTW, the bike is running much better after the service. Not sure what the dealer did, but she's running stronger and smoother than before. It was running fine prior to service, but it seems to be even better now....go figure. What a great bike.

This picture best represents how I felt after the modifications to my Bonnie Black:

Thumbs up Welcome back!

Welcome back GDawg -

I can reply to you sensibly sharing my experience with British Customs. I bought the same setup that you just ordered from Sean. I, however, had my dealer put all this on as soon as my 07 Black came out of the crate. I also went for the Nology wires and Ignition, Iridium plugs and a Dyno Jet kit to round off the package. Everything else was accessories like the Tach, Centerstand and all weather cover. Although I spent, roughly, an extra $1000 bucks I still to this day do not feel I wasted a penny. I didn't do the black headers because, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, they are just the factory headers painted black - there is no performance gain. Don't get me wrong I really think it is a good idea but I'm going to get my headers and Preds ceramic coated Black this Winter from my boys down at GForce in Bridgeport, CT. I'm also going to take the advice of 2 really smart guys here - D9 & Loxpump and Powder Coat my Dresser Bar (Grab Rail) and High Sissy Bar Black at that same time as well.

After expressing to Sean at BC about how happy I was with the total outcome of the upgrades we started to talk about the next step and we got into the Carb discussion. I am now also toying with the 35mm CR Kit. I am still swearing to keep my hands off of the inside of my engine - but history will show that I have yet to be able to stop myself.

My personal Prayer:
Please God give me the strength and sanity to leave the insides of this engine stock! Give me the pleasure of riding it more hours in a day than working on it!

I'm glad you posted!

Running Better

Youll findthe more miles- the bette she runs!! I have done nothing but change the oilo & filoter After the 1st mods. It amazes me how much better she runs as the miles rack up. Still on orig plugs etc.. 7000 mi + It took a few tweaks to get her up to snuff in the beginning. Havent even had to adjust the chain in 2 yrs!! Better every day!! Wish you the same.
