Mirrors
I am having a hard time with the stock bonnie mirrors. I like to see things in real time ...not convex. Are there any aftermarket mirrors that look good and work?
I saw a pair at Bella corse , swan style oval mirrors.I read where these are hard to see anything but your shoulder.Any input would be appreciated.Bob

Hi Bob-
There are lots of aftermarket mirrors that fit, since these are 10mm std threaded mirror mounts. The question is, what looks good to you? This is very subjective. Napoleon bar-end mirrors look good to some people, CRG bar-ends also look good, but are much more convex than the stock mirrors. What look are you going for?

Don't get the Swan Bella Corse
They look sweet but if you thought you were looking at your elbows with your stockers you will HATE the visibility from those. And they shake like crazy. Bite the bullet and get the CRGs, rock solid great visibility.
Oops, just read the part about you not liking convex mirrors. CRGs are probably out then.

I am intending to go the retro look...a little more bling. The convex part is hard to get used to.....objects are closer than they appear.

What you could always do is bent the stock mirrors down more. I believe it was Loxpump (might be wrong) that did that and from pictures, looks very good. Plus it would put it in a better position to avoid the gun show. Just use a table top vise (and a cloth or piece of rubber around the rod so not to scratch), and bent carefully.

Well, the CRGs are very nice, but VERY convex. You might not like the view. If you are going for bling, consider these Rizoma mirrors.
Their whole collection is here:

If you're referring to the reflective surface, I don't think that the stock mirrors are convex. I think that they're completely flat and "real-time" as you call it.
