'08 Bonnie Rumor

I read the other day on another forum (sorry can't remember which one) that the 2008 Bonnies will be 900cc and FUEL INJECTED! They said the bodies of the carbs would be left in place albeit empty for cosmetic reasons only. Has anyone else heard about it?

Not sure about the cc increase but I spoke to a man from Triumph [UK] at a bike show and he said that the 2008 models would be fuel injected because of tighter emission laws. And yes they will be retaining he carb body to keep the retro look.

I believe it is bumped up to 909cc. On Sky's link there is an article from Jenks Bolts about the bike

I heard the injected ones will be out, of course they want to sell all the older equipment first. Maybe mid-year

It's very surprising (and mildly annoying) that folks are already riding away on '08 Bonnies but there's NOTHING about them posted anywhere by Triumph Corp.
