Went to the Killacycle website. Guy is fine and refers to himself as an idiot.
We should ban friction. Friction almost killed this man. If we got rid of all the friction this never would have happened. Do it for the Children. Oh yeah, ban batteries too.
I’m Fine (scapes and cuts) Bike is a little bent….
First off, I’m just a bit scraped up. Emabarrassed of course. I had not intended the bike to move in the soapy water, just spin the tire.
Got it slowed down to about 20 mph. Front wheel is bent, as are front forks. Cowling is not nearly as pretty as it was.
Battery box took a hit from the front wheel. Almost certainly, some cells were shorted. No smoke. No fire. Ultra safe cells. Had these been anything but A123 Systems Nano-phosphate cells, shorts would have caused a serious fire.
No major damage. We will have is fixed in short order.
I really have a dislike for stunter wannabees and general dipstuff actions, if you are on a bike have the decency to nut up where nobody can see you, much less film you! Makes us all look bad.
by the way is it just me or did that thing sound really lame, sounded a lot better on impact.
also is it just me or are you 99% more likely to nut up after saying "hey watch this"
by the way lithium ion batteries are on my list a HP laptop with them in it burned down my garage in march.
If you have not looked before go to youtube and search motorcycle crashes, there is a lot of priceless stuff there!
one of the wright brothers died in a plane crash and im sure everyone saw it coming if you asked them. So regardless I respect this man for his ingenuity and desire to build something with such capability and I hope he is not discouraged even by embarassement. juice it up and let the lightning fly man someday we will probably all be riding triamps
With my new bonneville I have something most harley riders will never see. The Title
Nothing like the phrase, "No secured interest." is there, Kurt?
