Yes...another Bonnie Remap Question (Tune ECU map accuracy)
hey Folks,
quickie question.
I'm in the middle of installing Emgo 17" Shortys on my '12 Bonnie SE.
GTO Bruin has done the same, and he noted that the OEM Arrow 2:2 map works like a real champ for the Bonnie with the Emgos.
I just bought The Cable for Tune ECU because I may want to mess with the airbox eventually, and because I have heard (and seen) that the Tune ECU site has the Triumph OEM Arrow maps.
My question: Just how accurate are those maps? Are they the true map that my dealer is gonna ding me $50 for installing?
I've heard the custom maps can be dodgy, but I'm only doing pipes right now, just the slip on Emgos.
Any thoughts about the map itself?
If I do the airbox later I'll definitely buy ponying up for the TTP maps.
thanks!
