dynojet

just wondering why I read that some bikes are running such big jets with the same mods as I have done. I have an 06 bonnie black AI gone and Staintunes. Thats it. I run 112 mains stock pilot. This is what the specs from the dynojet kit state with these mods. Bike runs well. Very rarely will I get a pop from the exhaust on decel. Any feedback would be appreciated. Wondering if I should bump up in jet size? Just a thought. Thanks.

No set Standard

Dyno have their own standard for jet sizes.
The sizes you read about hear are for the standard Khien jets.
Jet sizes are not universally standard between carburettor manufacturers.

This seems reasonable given the nearly stock condition of your bike - see my signature below - I had 125's in mine, but today's dyno runs suggested I was a bit fat - hence the 122s.

In general... the less you restrict the flow of air, the bigger the jets required. See page 10 of Jenks Tuning Notes.
