nb vs. bella adaptor pipes.

planing on picking up a pair for some new pipes on order. The only difference that i see is that the nb has clamps with it and the bella doesn't but can be bought separately. Do these clamps really matter for the exhaust because i sort of like the sleeker look that the bella ones offer.

Kid- I haven't used these particular adapters, but experience with other pipes tells me they need to be clamped. After all, those adapters are the front mount for the silencers, and the rear mount for the header pipes.

If nought else, this will give you a bump, and maybe someone who knows for sure will chime in.

Cheers!
Bruce

hell yes they matter. the only real option is to weld them, because no clamp at all is right out

I have the adapter pipes except I got them off E-Bay. Actually got them with the mufflers and the seller included clamps. You do have to tighten them pretty good and recheck them in a week or so. I have never had a problem with mine coming loose or leaking. They do support the front of them mufflers to the rear of the headers, but do not support the rear of the headers also. The headers have their own bolted point to the frame in the rear.
