Question Rear sprocket for an '02 america?

Who can tell me where to get a new 42 tooth rear sprocket for my '02 TBA? Everytime I have ordered one (from my local Triumph dealer!)it ends up being the wrong bolt pattern. I suspect it may fit a TBS with alloy wheels but not an America with spokes. I do not want aluminum type. My original has made it 25K miles. The stock steel SunStar sprocket kicks butt, But seems impossible to find. Maybe someone has a part number for it?

Check over on BA.com. they have a list of other sprockets that fit (some certain models and years of honda, for instance) Also, stock replacement parts can be had slightly cheaper than the dealer thru bikebandit.com
happy hunting,
G

When I ordered chain and sprockets from my dealer, he cross-referenced aftermarket parts to save me some money. In the book, America/Speedy rear sprockets had the same part number as the standard Bonneville line. As you found out, they have a different bolt pattern. I ended up flipping my rear around and replacing the front when I did my chain. The front was obviously worn (hooked), rear looked pretty good. Next time, I will order the Triumph chain and sprocket set.

sprooket

You know you can save your self a littel money(for beer) if you turn the sprooket around. You or just wearing out one side of the sprooket, if you haven't pointed the tooth. You known with a warren sprooket you can fill it kind of pulseing went your ride it. You just turned them and that will go away. Now you can't do that will the chain. But will save a new chain.Rudyr
