I agree. They're sharp. In fact they'd be my first choice but boy are they spendy.

A VERY small trip. They're basically briefcases. But really good looking!

city bag latches

I've a pair of brown city bags and really like them.

They are basically briefcases so they don't really hold alot. I've added a GIVI voyager tailbag (model no. 417 I think) and a tiny tankbag and this is doing just great for a 5 day trip. I'd say it depends where you're going and what time of year as the colder it gets, the more bulky stuff to pack.

The city bags on their own do really well with items that fit and are not too heavy. I tried carrying a gallon of paint in one and it strained the buckle/latches and almost ripped it out (the latches are attached with two small set screw/posts that slide through holes in the leather).

They are well made for the intended purpose.

Theye're great for a laptop (smaller than 17" screen) and books. The dividers would make them less than ideal for use as "suitcases" while travelling, however.

City bags

TT, I have some new black ones for sale without the mount bar. I have brown ones as well, but I may keep them on the opal tang. The blacks I replaced with larger bags on the goodwood. PM me if you want em at a bargain price.
