MPH vs. RPM

I plan on getting a tach in the near future but in the mean time, does anyone have a chart which shows MPH vs. RPM in different gearing?

I thought this was posted sometime in the past but couldn't find the link.

Thanks

I posted this in another thread a few weeks ago when I checked MPH at about 7000 rpms:

1st - 50
2nd - 70
3rd - 85
4th - 95

I think in 5th at about 65 I am at 3500 rpms, and at 80 mph at about 4500 rpms with an 18 tooth sprocket on a '06 Bonnie Black 790cc.

Al

Awesome link - thanks

Graphed it out (see attachement). Is it me or does that 1st gear seem awfully tall?

I don't think that takes anything other than the basic math into account, so that's probably why it seems a bit different. I got into the habit of taping the speedo at the track (one less piece of information to process) so I just pretty much listen and don't pay attention to RPM (my Bonnie black lacks one anyway).

The only reason I ask

Is that I was sure I wasn't using the whole rev range (just by sound) and this confirms it.
