I have my first Triumph Thruxton that i added some mods to amd now it runs a little sluggish, especially at lower rpms. Does anyone have an idea of good maps that i could put on or of i buy the dynoject power commander, will it come with the right maps.
Performance Mods are basic:
British customs 2 into 1 exhaust
AI removal
Dynoject O2 sensor plugs
British customs air box elimination kit
You could try ttp. Lots of info on here about them. Lots of riders have their products and tunes on their bikes. Myself included. From what I've heard the stock Triumph tunes do not take intake mods into consideration including the tors tune.
I've been running my '10 SE with one for about 3 years now and never had an issue. Lots of satisfied customers on this forum too. A Power Commander will NOT include any FI maps, those are done off the base tune by a tuner with a dyno and your $$'s for his time.
Thanks for the help. I just ordered the TTP 11 2-1 ecu tune. waiting on my cable to come in so I can get it downloaded to the ECU. Thanks again for your help and hopefully the bike runs a lot better.
I cant seem to download the tune. I downloaded the file folder from the receipt page and unzipped the folder, after I unzipped it I read the instructions and opened the Tune page with the run as administrator.
Once I completed that step I entered in my ID and Password and attempted to download my tune, the box popped up and said downloading files and the bar turned green all the way but did nothing after that but kept saying downloading files. After 2 hours of sitting there like that I checked it and it had froze. I had to run task manager and quit everything. Now when I try to do the same process by opening the Tune folder by running as administrator it pops up with the TuneTP logo that goes away and my computer says "applications needed for file" with the option to install the files or skip this application. The only one I can click on is the "skip this application" which does nothing.
Is there anything I can do? I emailed TTP from their contact us drop down and haven't heard anything back. This downloadable tune process seems a little more complicated than what its worth.
I never had a problem whit TTP.
I have 2 tunes 1 whit tune boy and 1 whir the new tune loader.
I to think the tune loader is a bit strange. But it works. Try to download it agian and swich of fire wall and temporary shut down your antivirus softwear. Same when you install on the bike. God luck. It's worth the hassle ?
